I ve seen that too, though I wouldn t consider it a live problem per se. I hear it while making the patterns, then just back off on the res and all is well.

Very strange, I do that (err...did that) all the time with no problems. What are you doing in SX before you save as? Have you tried Exporting as Midi File?
