Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I'm having trouble with the arpeggio settings. Everytime I power 
down, then come back for my next session, they're different. How do I 
lock them in for each individual pattern so that they stay the same? 
I tried to save a multi-setup but I must be doing something wrong. 
Should the master arp be on or off? The preset set to user, master, 
on , off? HELP PLEASE!!!

Arps are saved with the preset.  Edit the preset you're using in your
pattern (Preset Edit -> Arp/Riff button -> edit stuff) and save it,
then save the pattern.  You should set the arp to either "on" or
"preset" for the channels that you want arpeggiated.  If you set it to
"preset", make sure to turn on the arp in the preset...
