I think calling the lack of trigger button a 'major' shortcoming is a bit strong. No doubt it is a useful feature all the same. However it has to be said that the former Wiard unit was well featured with two of everything including banana sockets. CW

No more Joystick controller? Why? How am I supposed to make wiard music w/o a joystick controller? a keyboard? that's not very wiard! I've been saving up money to get a joystick plus, like, a couple of oscillators, an omni-filter, a Mixolator and stuff like that to start out w/.

hi Dustin, Although all Wiard modules have tricks up their sleeves, the most far out are the Waveform City and the monomorphic Filter. The Waveform City does more with wavetable lookups than any other analog module ever did, and as a result is a huge part of the Wiard sound. the

Balanced Modulation

check out the samples on wiard.com as you can hear the texture/tones of the system are !. and it gives you access to "extra" parameters also the functions of things like osc and cv are wider than other systems (lfo in the audio range and osc as a lfo etc.) --listen to the "woggle
