I ve used my SDS8 pads with a Roland PM16 pad to MIDI converter; worked fine. I guess you ll need to make up socket converters for the Cannons on SDSV pads.

Open the pad and remove the resistor which is soldered between the pins of the xlr - output. Now you can swap the xlr s polarity: Pin 1 remains ground, pin 2
