SX240 can go for a little more because of midi. Frankly, i like the sound of the 210 more. I NEVER see them go for 400 though. More like $150-225 for either.

You don t want to run 2 or more diodes in series. Each diode will have a ~.7v junction drop, so if you start stacking them you ll lower the voltage to the CMOS
