Nope...can t do that. The 2-AA battery holder puts the batteries in series, so if you used 2 3.6v liths you d have 7.2v on the memory cmos ram. Bad mojo. If

You can, but then you have to find a slide-in holder for it so you have something to solder to. I used a Tadrian 3.6v AA size lithium and a single AA holder
