No,you can't do that. There is no MIDI file import (or export) on Cirklon. You'd have to record thing's either in real time or up the tempo while recording and slow it back down to the original tempo when finished recording. On Thursday, 24 July 2014, 13:02, "bobdebobb@yahoo.com

I intent to acquire a Cyrklon since hardware sequencers are (much) more reliable than software sequencers in LIVE performances. Before that, I have to make sure that I can dump/export MIDI files to Cyrclon. So, in consequence, I intent to use Cyrclon mainly for live performance s

not exactly the same, no... there is a repeat aux, but it squished the repeats into the same step-time. I'm tempted to experiment with the P3 a bit to see if this is possible... but I've also had to order one of the metropolis 185 clones myself (& presumably an unbearable wait!)

The "step repeat" function on the Intellijel Metropolis, where a step can be repeated up to times is interesting. I haven't come across that on the P3, and I wonder if anyone has found a way to implement it through the creative use of Aux's? This hilarious video shows the step re

Hi all! I have a P3 which would get more use in other hands and I'm planning to sell it. Prebuilt, no wooden ends. The screen was replaced 3 years ago. It's in perfect aesthetic and working condition except for 2 keys (13, 14) which need extra pressure to function. I need to have

Thanks for the replies, guys. WT's comments caused me to take a more scientific approach to the problem, by recording all the synths into Logic and comparing note start times. To make a long story short, after decreasing Logic's buffer from 1024 to 64 it became clear that the P3

yeah, you can do 303 style patterns easily (and *way* beyond). since you have the accent & slide inputs on your 303, you can set up the cirklon to ping those & get the same results as the builtin sequencer. the cirklon itself has various adjustable slide modes so you can use thos

well, without wanting to be rude about it, this is from the *manual*: "P3 is a pattern-based, 8 track hardware MIDI sequencer." that might go some way to explaining why "tracks" 9-16 don't seem to be transmitting midi data! I often use my two P3s on the higher numbered channels w
2012-10-24 by Lorne Hammond
That was my point, you can only send 8 tracks on the midi ports. Nemo gives you two independent midi buses with 2 jacks each, the P3 has I think one bus with four jacks and din sync. The original inquiry is about why he can't send out 16 tracks, or the ones 9-16, after using 1-8.
2012-10-23 by duncan
the eight tracks of the P3 can be freely assigned to any of the 16 midi channels. I often use two or more tracks on the same channel for switcheroo action. depending what version of the o/s you are running, the "part" switches (not to be confused with the banks) will select diffe
2012-10-23 by Lorne Hammond
Uhm doesn't the p3 just transmit on track 1-8 and 9-16 are bank keys for different combos of 1-8? So the midi you set on tracks 9-16 go nowhere? Might be wrong, novice on p3 myself but that is how I use it. Lorne in canada [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
