Step Repeat function on the P3?

The "step repeat" function on the Intellijel Metropolis, where a step can be repeated up to times is interesting. I haven't come across that on the P3, and I wonder if anyone has found a way to implement it through the creative use of Aux's?

not exactly the same, no... there is a repeat aux, but it squished the repeats into the same step-time. I'm tempted to experiment with the P3 a bit to see if this is possible... but I've also had to order one of the metropolis 185 clones myself (& presumably an unbearable wait!) on the basis of the brilliant clip you linked to.
