They are not the same, but give similar results. Gate mode 2 lets you set a series of steps to the same note, and tie them together, so that the note plays over multiple steps. The note value is changed on every step. Length 13 makes the note set on a single step hold until the n

Thanks for the info, Sadly, due to vet bills for my poor dog (straight after my massive renovations), I can't afford a Cirklon now. I've told Barbara with much sadness. I will be trying to purchase this p3 though so I can at least enjoy that and get ready for a Cirklon next year

Great news, thanks Paul. Sounds like a great combo, being able to record external tweaks via the Cirklon. Very excited. I just paid off the Moog Voyager XL just minutes ago and am looking at the Vermona DRM1 MK3 as well, so the Cirklon will certainly give them a smashing! Cheers

Awesome news on CVIO! When you ship it, say it's under 1000 and call it a gift and i will kiss you!! Wow... that's pretty amazing then. So when you're 'jamming' away, you could have the Cirklon on record and it would store all the data sent from an external midi controller!? Yike
