I uploaded the latest os already to the eproms ic 9 and 10. I believe it was 4.4 but I am not near the machine. So your s1000 has only 2 removable eproms?

The diffrence between S1000 and S1000hd is only the SCSI card and internal HD. As far ad i can remember the s1000hd i had only had two roms... I suspect that

Oh yes, I also had the same issue on my S1000 until I installed v2 eproms. You didn t state which sampler you have or which version of firmware it s running.
