S1000 surgery (body parts available)

S1000 surgery (body parts available)

2011-09-17 by paypah

I have been a member of this group for some years but sadly my gear is mainly all packed away safely until I get a nice sized nest and spread my wings.

I obtained a s1000 kb in need of repair which was a sizeable beast, and during my latest house move had to make the tough decision to cull it.

The case has been disposed of (only the metal chassis)
The mechanical keyboard unit has also been despatched

What I do have though is all the innards boards/knobs/etc and would like them all to go to good homes. The thing did switch on so power supply is healthy

I know a few of these parts are worth a quid or two but would prefer the parts to go to people in need of parts for repairs and not for them to simply go and make a profit out of me on ebay

The LCD lit up so that would be handy if somebody had a dull display

I may need a little help identifying other parts as and when requested

I am happy to accept small gifts in the form of other broken bits of gadgets or anything else as a token although not essential and would prefer postage paid as I am not wealthy.

Please just get in touch if any parts interest you

Regards

Andy

Hi,

I could definitely use your lcd backlight display. Mine is toast - currently using a flashlight to illuminate it. I have a Korg monotron that I could trade if you're up for it. I'm in Canada though.

Cheers,
Joey

Hi Andy!

I know your post is more than five years old but I'm taking my chance and ask since I'm desperately in need of the numeric panel or at least one of the button caps. If you still have some of those available please let me know.

Kind regards
moe

Ha. Chance is a fine thing. You may well be in luck. I have most of, if not all of the bits I had left over. I sent lcd to Canada. Also some other bits. Luckily I'm a hoarder ! Just checking . . . . . . . . . Yup, there it is. Complete keypadRegards

Talking of parts. I have an S1000/S1100 SCSI board if anyone would like to
make me an offer?

I might also have an Effects board for the same if I can just find it!

Best regards

T.
