I guess my personal irony is I have an Analogue Solutions case that ought to be able to accept just about anything Eurorack, even with abnormal screw spacing... but instead ordered a Blacet. What's the power consumption in mA? Now I'm worried I'm underpowered. Anyway I'm short of

Hi Cynthia, Many thanks for your rapid response; much appreciated ! Especially good to read about the solution for the front panel issue; I was mostly worried about this, but I should be able to replace one myself. Keep up the good work, best regards Joost --- In The_Cyndustries_

Hi all, I picked up my Eurorack ZO today from the post office. When trying to mount it in my Doepfer G6 rack, the following issues occured. 1) The 10p power connector does not fit on a standard doepfer bus. I do have some extra 10-16p cables at hand, but the lay-out on the ZO PCB

Folks, I'm back from AHMW, where everyone was interested in the ZO. I spent a lot of time setting up the basic dynamic fm patch, and then turning people loose to play. I heard lots of comments to the tune of: "I'm disappointed that this thing sounds so good, now I have to lust af

We have discovered a couple of difficulties with the present mechanical fit of the Euro Format Zeroscillators and have thus suspended Euro format shipments for a week or so while we make the necessary adjustments. 1. The depth of the Zeroscillator in it's present form is too deep

Thanks for the replies. So if I understand correctly, in DX style synthesis they have to compensate for amplitude of the modulators as the keyboard tracks? I'm glad we don't have that problem! Moe http://www.stoogeindustries.com --- In The_Cyndustries_List@yahoogroups.com, "tunin

Under further examination the beats and clangorous tones are heard only from the morph outputs, at morph settings over 1.5 or so. It is probably some function of the squaring of the output. I hear no beating from the sine wave output, or when morph is less than 1 and sine/triangl

Richard, That's the hard way to tune it. You might try a 3 volt shift to the 1V/oct input. Set ZO to 240 Hz. Tune the 3 volt shift to nearly 1920, but not quite. The two missing octaves in between will tend to fall into place. The bass tuning is far less important, in my opinion.

Thanks for reporting this, John. I will go through the calibration process again, although I am not sure it will help because I saw too much sensitivity on the low end (greater than one octave per volt) and not enough on the high end. I would expect the trimpot only to shift the
