Hi List! As mentioned, I ve settled for a setup with just 8 pads with dynamic speakers as pickups. I e the SDS-3, SDS-4, Pollard and Pearl Syncussion pads.

Hello Sander, The XLR connectors on the SDS5 pads (and brain for that matter) are not wired in the traditional way. Pin 2 is hot while pins 1 and 3 are ground.
