I have solved the TKB problem replacing the FWD/REW switch. The problem now is: When doing the replacement, the brown wire on one side of the 3 poles of the switch went into contact with the RED wire (on the opposite side of the switch). The Clock was fed by the DUSG; after this,

Using the DTG gate gives strong pulses with nice square edges, more reliable to trigger on. Blue jack gives soft-sided control voltage signal, although you can change that by adjusting rise & fall times to a minimum. No reason for embarassment - It's just a different technique! O
