I remember bugs saying that the LF442 couldn t be swapped, at least not in his pcb layout for the XR VCO. Mine already has the TL074 in there by the way.

I remember something about the 444 not being subbed in a circuit but I think it was the XR-2206 Based VCO I can do a swap out and see how the Sn Voice copes

That d be a good idea. IIRC, the control servo in the SN Voice has a cap to overcome the pickiness exhibited by the XR VCO, but it sure wouldn t hurt for
