The USB drivers are part of the E-Loader 1.1 release, which can be
downloaded from:

Read the installation instructions included in the download.

Ok, I installed the E-Loader but when I connect my USB cable to the
computer and to the XL7. They don't recognize each other so I
couldn't update my OS, so I had to use midi cables. Any idea what is
wrong and how can I fix it.

Thank you

As stated in the E-Loader documentation (as well as various other
places), OS Download is not supported via USB, only via MIDI. USB is
used for performance data transfers only. You don't do OS downloads all
that often, so it doesn't seem that important to speed up that process.
I'd rather spend the time adding more commonly useful features to
E-Loader.

If you can't get USB to work with sequence transfers, then that is a
different problem. There are instructions in the USB Driver Installation
notes about how to test if the drivers were installed correctly.

I don't have my MP7 yet but a question -
Does the USB port thing ACT as a MIDI port as well?

Not currently. We realize this is a desirable feature, but technically
this is very difficult to achieve. We are prioritizing USB development
efforts with the philosophy of doing things that benefit most from the
speed advantage of USB first, hence bulk sysex transfers are first
priority. There is little advantage to sending real-time MIDI over USB
versus a traditional MIDI cable (Classic MIDI?), other than reducing
cable clutter. In fact, many would argue that MIDI over USB is a
disadvantage, because USB is inherently sloppier timing wise than
traditional MIDI. But we do realize why people want it, and it is on our
feature list.

Definatly. It would be very nice.
However, between my scanner, my printer, my camera, my smart media reader, my Midiman Oxygen 8 Keyboard, my Roland Ua - 30 and my EMU I only have 4 USB ports to use.
When USB first came out, I was under the assumption that devices would have a USB OUT which would allow daisy chaining (up to 128 devices) but apparently manufacturers found this stupid... shrug time for a hub

If you do get around to implementing it, perhaps you could compress and pre-send
messages with a timestamp in order to keep the timing rock solid. I believe
that's what eMagic does for theirs, especially if used with Logic.
That sound right? Also maybe set it up so you could respond tracks A USB tracks
B midi, complete with echo.
