Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Ok, I installed the E-Loader but when I connect my USB cable to the 
computer and to the XL7. They don't recognize each other so I 
couldn't update my OS, so I had to use midi cables. Any idea what is 
wrong and how can I fix it.
