I looked at the file in Sonar. Track 4 has two notes at with a duration of 96 as follows: 1:01:00 F5 vel = 92 dur = 96 1:03:96 E5 vel = 58 dur = 96 I have Sonar set to the default 384 ticks per beat. In 4/4: 384 ticks = 1 quarter note 192 ticks = 1 eighth note 96 ticks = 1 sixteenth note The pattern you have shows: (1) a sixteenth note at measure 1 beat 1 tick 0 (2) a sixteenth note (100% gate) at measure 1 beat 3 tick 96 (a sixteenth of a beat after the third beat of the measure). Perhaps you were at sixteenth-note resolution with 100% gate. I'm not sure where the 76 ticks (in the previous pattern you posted) came from if it was 100% gate. Hope this makes sense. --Steve --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "malik" <malik_martin@h...> wrote: > > thats funny cause it wasnt saved at 76 lemme try again maybe i made a > mistake while saving the patch and sent you an older one im gonna send > you a bassline without the gate because the gate isnt trigggering > anything... both notes on track or channel 4 are at 100% gate > > http://www.simbiotrecords.com/P.0.000-Bass.mid
