Do you mean that you don't hear any note played at the beat where you placed the note event at 100%? I assume you pressed the play button to get the pattern looping. Here's what I did: I pushed play. I turned knob 1 up. That placed a note at the first beat (both in the display and through the speakers). The duration of the note played was longer at 100% than 50% (best heard with a non-percussion preset with a short attack, tested at 40 bpm). If you did this and don't get any sound, press audition. Does an audition riff play? If not, swicth to a preset that does sound. > when i first addressed this problem steve told me this > > Here's a link to one of my posts as part of the discussion. When it comes to things technological, I like to spell out each and every step in the process I used as precisely as I know how. It works for some people, not for others. Sometimes I misunderstand the problem--for whatever reason. It may be that Mibrilane is right--you are not talking about gate, but about something else you are trying to do. If so, all that I wrote about gate (including the link to my previous post) may not be the help you need. Perhaps if you describe what you are trying to do--not what seems not to be working--others may be able to help. --Steve
