Emu will do it !

Emu will do it !

Hi nice people,

Considering the mc-909 discussion I'm quiet sure Emu will also make a
one solution box (Yamaha was the first, Roland follows, I heard Korg
is going to do it next year). If we have the same power in one box
why losing time in connections, settings, midi stuff...??
What do you think ? Emu should do it ?

Yeah of course it would be nice if they did it, but will they? Hard to
say, the market isn't exactly booming right now. The problem with all in
one boxes, is that everyone uses them different, and thus has different
needs. Some people will want the sampole to be more of the phrase variety
and integrated ala the mc909, while others would want a more traditional
approach ala the Emulater series. Personally, I'd love to see a XL-7
breeded with a E6400 or similiar. That would be cool!

That would be cool. But to be honest I love the MP-7
the way it is. I justwant some more sequencer functions
along with maybe some better overall control.

Even being able to dump samples into it via midi would
be enough to satisfy that aspect of it for me. I've got
plenty of sampling though with other boxes.
