Subject: [xl7] What sequencer are you using? The topic came up about online (computer based) sequencers. What is everyone using?Personally i find that ZTracker has a great interface because it's adapted to ... well ... us old school trackers. But when I can't find what I need in Z, I use cubase. Anyone else using their mp/xl with Ztracker? If not what are you using?

Transmits definable note numbers, transmits valume changes done with Accent, transmits the flam. Not to mention for basic beat handling it's fine (Slicin up grooves etc. ) and it's easy to cart around. *shrug* I have the heavy duty gear but when it comes down to it I am faster on the ES-1 than with a mouse. More musical as well. If the XL-7 let me do variable acents and flam was an option I wouldn't really be worried about the ES-1, save for basic sample mangling...-----Original Message-----

(Well, Max/MSP is a MIDI and audio construction system rather than a sequencer, but all my MIDI processing and arpeggiation software runs in it.) -- nick rothwell -- composition, systems, performance -- http://www.cassiel.com upcoming gig at cybersonica, london, june 5th -- http://www.cybersonica.org
