Heh, I
bought it again because it transmits everything and is super fast to set up good
beats. Transmits definable note numbers, transmits valume changes done
with Accent, transmits the flam. Not to mention for basic beat handling
it's fine (Slicin up grooves etc. ) and it's easy to cart
around. *shrug* I have the heavy duty gear but when it comes down to
it I am faster on the ES-1 than with a mouse. More musical as well.
If the XL-7 let me do variable acents and flam was an option I wouldn't really
be worried about the ES-1, save for basic sample mangling...
