how do you make it so when you are using an external module you can save your sequence on the xx-7 and it will automatically switch to the correct module patches next time you load your sequence again?? i heard it had to do with bank numbers or something? how do you change those or whatever??

I never had a need to do this so never explored the area. But, if I'm
understanding you correctly Bob, that would mean that it would become
impossible to do things such as have the patches saved on a pattern by
pattern basis or to have the patch changes occur when X-Mix is used.
Am I understanding you correctly here?
Regards,
Al

Switch your tracks that target the external gear to be "external" in the 2nd to last pattern edit screen. Then, in the event editor (the next screen to the left, i.e. 3rd to end) insert a program change event. You will have MSB, LSB and ProgCh which, if you're using an E-mu external synth, you can discern by pressing Audition on the external box. For E-mu stuff, the MSB is the ROM ID, LSB is the bank number (0-3 - the last digin in the "113^2" display), and Prog is the 0-127 number. -Aaron --- xxduece4xx <lild_soldier11@...> wrote: > how do you make it so when you are using an external module you can > save your sequence on the xx-7 and it will automatically switch to > the > correct module patches next time you load your sequence again?? i > heard it had to do with bank numbers or something? how do you change > those or whatever?? > > > > > > > Yahoo!
