Indeed, dryness is the key...I've full submerged a asio SK1 in water
and turned it on immediately afterwards though, and it still worked :)
It's more likely that water cached itself IN something that was on a
circuit board...likemaybe it bubbled up into a bad solder point or
something...never know whats in there until you open it...
