I've been seriously thinking of throwing my XL7 through the window. Today i had a free time and i tried to play the typical 1/16th hihat sequence over a beat, but the thing kept applying a swing setting over the track. I erased the track several times, tried different recording and quantize settings, and it always kept sending my straight hihat line into a funky swinging groove. Any explanations ? Did you possibly have it set to "16d" or "16t" instead of "16"? -m@

mine has the same issue. I hate it, infact mine has problems with any drum patterns. the timing will be just a bit off, like between the loop, a tiny payse or something is making it sound all messed up. If you are receiving clock from a computer/laptop, it may not be very stable. Airik wrote:

:) I also keep it for the sounds... And because it is valuable... so i'm not planning to throw it (yet). The solution was to turn the thing off, work on another project for a couple of days, and then turn it on again. And it was working... Jose
