Re: bad timing ?

2005-06-09 by Airik

mine has the same issue. I hate it, infact mine has problems with any
drum patterns. the timing will be just a bit off, like between the
loop, a tiny payse or something is making it sound all messed up.
It's frusterating me to no end and im seriously thinking of throwing
mine out the windo too...... it's just that it sounds so good i can't
bring myself to.

Today i had a free time and i tried to play the typical 1/16th hihat
sequence over a beat, but the thing kept applying a swing setting over
the track. I erased the track several times, tried different recording
and quantize settings, and it always kept sending my straight hihat
line into a funky swinging groove.
