randomization euphoria...

randomization euphoria...

2005-02-19 by Mibrilane

Let me just share with you my extreme happiness with the RANDOMIZE
PRESET function. I've just spent an evening randomizing on my XL-7
(stock ROM only) and ended up with about 30 really ace "playable"
sounds and another 25 or so really weird "never would have come up with
that myself" sounds. These are the kinds of sounds people will ask me
"how'd you do that" and I will honestly tell them "I just hit a
button".

If only all synths (especially my Nova) had this feature. Yee howdy!

How did you set that function. I am a newbee, so please bear with
me.

Ahh yes-

That is great isn't it?
The only randomizing function I've ever used that produced more variety
than Emu's was the one on my old Waldorf XT.
Not much playable stuff coming out of that, but oh man it would spit out
sounds that I had never imagined before.
