shit!!!!
i was getting ready to do some finishing touches on a live set for you
guys to hear and had done some midi in flstudio to record it into my
mp-7(a drum break that i really like and wouldnt mind using it). and
when i fuking recorded it started 1/4 of a beat late and kept looping
until it sounded like ringmodulation and just froze, i couldnt stop
it or nothin. so after it stopped i thought ok im gonna just let it
sit for a while and unhang itself and i come back about 10 to 15 mins
later.

starte redoing the beat. tried recording again didnt record right but
i took enough precaution to not record in all those notes again. and i
changed the pattern to quickly erase what i was doing and when i
change it i notice that all my previous patterns were fuked up!!! and
i have no backupsss!!!

fuck!!! i'm such a dick!!!

decided to check out the rest of the mp7 so i turnt it back on and
everything is totaly screwed....

is there anything i can do before i factory restore this thing?

You have a MIDI loop. Notes coming in are being echoed out, which are
being echoed back in from the software you're using, etc. Make sure
you have MIDI thru off in both the XL-7 and in your software.

Really? *None* of your patterns are there?

sounding presets even tho they are the same as far as names go
everything is just altered, i cannot tell if all the sequences are ok
but i am assuming they are

so i've managed to save my sequences wich fortunately were made to
trigger rom presets that were just altered and most of the stuff i
made myself was being triggered in my ms2k so i just got the sequence
data initialized the whole mp7 and reloaded the patters. things are
looking ok so far but i just have t o do a bit of rebuilding. just
remade a two layer vox patch.
