Laterz!

Laterz!

2004-01-16 by erik_magrini@Baxter.com

Hey all,

I'm off to Puerto Rico (Ponce, the home of Bacardi 151, oh yeah!) all next
week for my job, so I'll be away from email until the 26th. Just a heads
up in case anyone is trying to get ahold of me.

Thanks,
rEalm

Be sure to visit the Serralles Castle... They sell another brand of
rum, the castle is kind of like a museum. Barcardi is located at the
other end of the Island in Bayamon... You'll find rum cheap
everywhere, though.

Enjoy!

Thanks, my company has a few manufacturing plants down there, so I've been
there a bunch already and seen the sites. Myaguez is my favorite so far,
though San Juan on the strip is fine on the weekends too.

Yes, Mayaguez is nice! I might move there next year. San Juan IMHO is
a cooler placer all round though... There's a huge Old San Juan all
weekend festival, it started yesterday... If you have a chance check
it out.

Thanks man, my best memory of San Juan is getting kicked out of this
club called Area 51 for having an earing.

Really? Just for refusing to taking it off? I used to wear two
earings and was never kicked out of a place for wearing them... I've
never been to that club, but it used to be really popular...

take care and enjoy the tropical weather!

Yeah, I can't take mine out as they're closed loop, ie welded shut into a
continous circle. They didn't get that I guess and escorted me to the
exit. Since the only beer they had was Coors light, I wasn't too upset.
Quite happy to spend my drinking time holding a Medalla this time around,
by far my favorite beer.

The weather was great, although going from 97 degrees to 7 degrees and a
ton of snow did suck big time on Friday :)
