>>>No, it's not normal, but others have experienced it too. Check the FAQ
for possible solutions, it's int eh files section of this group and you
should have gotten it when you subscibed as well. <<<

>>>Emu has a huge sale going right now, I recommend you buy directly from
them. Doing a search in this forum will get you a ton of reviews of the
various ROMs Emu sells. Without saying what you're looking for ("doing
techno" is a broad statement), it's hard for su to narrow it down. <<<

Hi,

read something about PWM, today, how can I invert a wave? By samplestart?
Thanx,
christoph

Faking PWM
A good way to get PWM with static sampled waves is to sum a saw and an
inverted detuned copy of
itself...change the detune and you will change the PWM rate.

Do you have a music store in your area, or a friend with a PC? Only takes
a couple of minutes to do the update, surely you know someone that could
help you out?

The buzz does not sound like a normal thing. You might try a ground lift
converter on the power cord. That may kill it if your place has some
electrical issues.

Secondly, if you are doing techno, here are suggestions: Beat Garden, Mo’
Phatt, Construction Yard, Protean Drum, or World (if you can find it). For
add’l patches like strings, keys, synths, clean basses, check out the
Proteus Pop or the Sounds of the ZR!

I’m out!

I have been experiencing the same problem and my buzz seems to be
tied to the LCD's on the panel. Tonight I wll check the ribbon cable
as described in the files section.

Two other things to try:

1. Loosen the headphone jack nut on the outside of the case just a little
bit. It seems if it's too tight and cuts through the powder coating, it
can cause a grounding issue that way.

2. Make sure the 8 case screws on the bottom are tight too!
