Restoring to factory...

ok...

as you may or may not know, i recently purchased a floor model (demo) 
xl-7...

what i would like to know is....can i do some kind of factory reset 
to undo any changes that might have been made by many people changing 
things around when demoed? (i know..."demoed" is not a word :P )

power it up while holding both cursor bottons.Select "initalize user date" then select reboot.

Note that this will erase ALL sequences.  If you still want the factory
sequences, choose "Init data except seq"...

you can reinitialize - by entering the diagnostics menu as mentioned 
by malik - power off ... press and hold the cursor arrow buttons then 
power on to startup -  There are two Reinitializecommands. The first 
(#16) will erase all the Patterns and Songs. The second *(#17) is the 
common User Reinitialize command. Selecting #17 - "INIT DATA EXCEPT 
SEQ" will overwrite the RAM Presets (sounds) with factory preset 
data, but will leave the Pattern and Song data untouched - so you can 
erase first and before going to 18 (reboot) go to 17 ... and then do 
18 reboot ... hope that helps here is a link to check out

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
