you can reinitialize - by entering the diagnostics menu as mentioned by malik - power off ... press and hold the cursor arrow buttons then power on to startup - There are two Reinitializecommands. The first (#16) will erase all the Patterns and Songs. The second *(#17) is the common User Reinitialize command. Selecting #17 - "INIT DATA EXCEPT SEQ" will overwrite the RAM Presets (sounds) with factory preset data, but will leave the Pattern and Song data untouched - so you can erase first and before going to 18 (reboot) go to 17 ... and then do 18 reboot ... hope that helps here is a link to check out http://dmzweb3.europe.creative.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE/,/?
