Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Best bet for those type of sounds is to layer, layer, layer!  You've got 
128 voice polyphony, so don't be afraid to use 2 or 3 kicks if needed. I 
do that for all my drums!

Hello,
I just got my XL-7 last week and have been up late every night with 
it makin some really awesome tracks, i LOVE this thing.

However, I can't seem to find any really PHAT kickdrums, nor can 
have i been able to manipulate any of the presets to sound the way 
i'd like.  Have any of you guys found any good settings that will 
put out some sick kicks?  I'm looking for something phat in the 
style of Infected Mushroom kicks, any suggestions would be really 
appreciated.  I'm still a newb, so i don't really know which 
properties to manipulate to get the phat sound, really full, and 
maybe even a dive in frequency after the initial hit.

By the way, this yahoo group is frickin awesome, what a great 
resource and community.
