It'll definitely void your warrenty, you need to completely disassemble the whole unit. I can definitely help people who want to get the lettering put back on after they paint their cases, but like I said it's not cheap at all (probably $70-80 just for that). After trying unsuccesfully for weeks to find a place to actually do the work, it became pretty apprent that no one in my area wanted to work on only a single unit. However, at the last place I had on my list to try, I got lucky as the owner is a drummer who thought my little project was cool and he took sympathy on me. I just called him and he said that yes he can do other cases, but because he needs to reconfigure all his printing equipment for just a single unit, it'll be kind of expensive. If anyone's interested in this (like I said it WILL void your warrenty), contact me off the list and we can work something out. BTW, keep in mind that the plastic LCD cover will still be yellow and orange too (the writing), it took me far longer to fix that issue than to actaully paint the whole case :) rEalm Cool I am thinking of doing it too and any information from you will help, or maybe you can even do it for me just tell me how much you want. I am sure that it will raise the XL/MP value. One question, will that will void the warranty, even tough it is only cosmetic change.
