This XL-7 is completley new. I got it two days ago (they tried to repair my old one but broke it totally, so they sent a new one). What I hate is the total lockups - a sequencer should NOT do this, you know what it feels like when you play live and this happends? I'm going to play live with this thing on Saturday, and I'm afraid it will lockup while I change pattern in the middle of performing the song. Not to mention the new bugs that wasn't in OS 1.01 - you probably know what I'm talking about, I'm unmuting and muting the patterns in real-time and changing them while performing the song. In OS 1.01 the leds at least always showed if the track was enabled or not. But the new OS has problems with this if you unmute / mute a lot while changing patterns. I mean, you can never be sure the leds really tells you the truth. I think I have good reason to be dissapointed with the XL-7, it should never have been released, at least not yet. Or the EMU homepage should have said "Well, the machine has awesome features and this and that" (everything that the XL-7 page says now), "but it does some random lockups and you'll have to reboot it, but don't worry, this will only happend a few times per day" //Nifflas --- In xl7@y..., erik_magrini@B... wrote: > Yeah, I've been getting a lot of lock ups too the last couple of weeks, > which is a bummer.
