Hi, As my english is very poor, i'll tend to explain how to do that as clear as possible. First of all, select one of your own preset and go to the preset edit menu to configure where are send the Fx in each layer ( mute button 10 ). For example config layer 1 ( the kick ) to send 2 layer 2 ( the snare ) to send 3...etc. Save your preset and go to the global menu. Choose the channel where is you're selected preset ( C1A for example ) instead of master fx and config this channel ( also in the global edit menu ) to user. When you will play back you rythm sequence ( in this example ) each layer will be send to the selected bus in the preset ( sub 1 for layer 1 sub 2 for layer 2 ) . So you can isolate different instruments. But the fact that the fx engine return the dry signal on the master only don't allow you to send fx on the sub output. In this case if the master fader ( on your mixer ) is diseable, you will not ear the fx but only the wet signal of your sound. After you can return in the preset edit menu to control the amount of the fx ( in the preset patchchord ) ex: Midi K>FXA1>+25 Midi L>FXB3>+ 52 Hope that you will anderstand me and that help you to config the fx engine.
