Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

It took a while to figure it out.  But it seems the other features of 
the machine don't lend themselves to this setup.

I'm getting better at patchord routing, but what would really help is 
adding some effects.  Specifically, distortion, chorus, or flange to my 
snares.  Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to route effects to 
specific layers, and have the the effect routed to the same output as 
the layer.  Seems that effects are always on Sub 1 & 2, which is not 
where I need them.

If anyone can offer some advice on how to assign effects to specific 
layers and outputs, I'd appreciate it.
