Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I am using Sonar 4.1 - I didn't even think about the control surfaces,
doh! But I have never used them anyway.
What I want to do is use the trigger pads to trigger the cells in
Battery. I figure if I can do this right, I should be even able to
switch octives, so I could "play" battery just like I play the pads to
write beats on the XLs internal sounds.
Does that make sense?
