i'm doing exactly what your doing but the note goes beep instead of
beeeep like it's not responding to the gate command at all and only
the simple message its getting from the note on command in grid mode.

no. no offene to milbrlane but i'm no noob i've been working with
synths and software for years but havent had this happen to me on any
synth workstation or sftware. i use gate on electribes too so i know
what im talking about.

gate is gate and nothing else.
