I've watched this conversation unfold and all I can tell you at this point
is:

a)  From all signs of things your machine is just fine and is not "broken".
b)  You really haven't explained your "problem" in any way that any of us
can comprehend.

Please explain to everyone what you mean by "gate", since it apparently
isn't the length of notes in the pattern or the volume of notes in a
pattern, because several have already addressed that and you continue to
maintain that "the gate isn't working" despite doing the suggested
operations. Explain what you want it to do, and then how it is not doing
what you want it to do.
