i've had the same problem with my XL-7 and Digital Performer on a Mac G4. i tried a million different tests and changes, with no luck. the problem finally seemed to go away when i connected the XL-7 to my MIDI interface with an expensive Mogami MIDI cable. but alas for me, the problem returned. now i think i've got it beat: once i got a new M-Audio MIDI interface, the problem vanished. completely. and it's been stable for weeks now. it seems that my XL-7 didn't like the sync sent through my MOTU Micro Lite interface. if you can, try a different interface from a different manufacterer. and high-end cables don't hurt either! good luck! --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "steve_the_composer" <smw-mail@p...> wrote: > > Thanks for the links; the sites were quite informative.
