This is a newbie question, but...

Are the sounds stored within the pattern or do they have to be stored in a "global setup" ? If that's the case, it sucks, since i have to go looking for the right global setup every time i load a different pattern.

Another question:

Which one is the global setup that is loaded at startup ? Everytime i turn the machine on i have to do a lot of repetitive tasks, like changing the midi routing for several channels and turning local control on. I have stored the modified global setup at the beginning (#0) and in other patterns, and every time i turn the machine on, it goes back to the previous settings.
