Keep in mind that the existing master clock that goes into the tone generator is VCO controlled by joystick and modulation. We need to keep all of that intact.

You can use a variety of encoders and that s what I did with my experiments. That schematic I did is incorrect in the cap/resistors for the debounce circuit.

Got it working! I figured out what was wrong and boy do I feel like an idiot. These controllers have a global channel out. On the unit it is Channel 00.

You might want to have a look at Global 87 to see if the MIDI bytes count up on the HAWK precisely. Each CC message is 3 bytes. Global 87 rolls over to zero
