I have a hunch that on some MK-1 s that a firmware bug keeps omni on, even after you set the channel. Mine refuses to leave omni unless it recieves an omnioff

Yup, on powerup the poly is in omni and every time, you have to set it to the channel on which you want it to receive. That s the way it is.... manicmaestro

Sounds like something with the patch envelope settings - the Poly 800 got *relatively* complicate envelopes - try to change their settings & see if that helps.
