Probably NOT................. You should try a different Power Supply......Mine likes a little more than just 9 volts for hassel free operation ! No higher than 12 volts, however !!!! Perhaps more importantly, is : what is the current ( Amperage ) capacity of your present PS !?????? Got to be more than just a few hundred Milliamps....find one that can source 600 or more Milliamps ( 0.6 Amp ) or better...... with this parameter, the more the better...Dont worry, the Unit only draws as much as it needs, but it cannot be starved by a PS that has insufficient source capability ! Then for sure it cannot be expected to perform 100 % ! Cheers, Dan
