Hi, unit is now fixed. Changed ic 50, 51 & 58 plus a few broken pots and an led and I have a fully working unit. Thanks to the forum for your help and advice.

I managed to get it going... It seemed to have been the coating on the wires had too good insulating properties... :-) Btw. What s the fuse when set to 240V?

it s a Simmons SDSV (SDS five ) drum synthesizer. Concerning your serial number it has been built in 1983. It is modular. The frame can carry up to 7 modules.
