Hi all - I came across the following documents on the Intellectual Property Office website.

Dave - I d suggest you check out the power supply section, especially the large electrolytic capacitors as they may have dried out. My Trixer has no hum at all

Hi Group, hope you are all well. I ve been lucky enough to acquire a Simmons Trixer from ebay. I really love this digital machine (despite being an Analog

well, if the power supply caps are bad they can hold an insufficient voltage until they warm up and begin to function better. or filter caps can let through

My experience is that when a cap fails it fails. There is no temperamental about it. This sounds a lot more like a crappy IC getting warmed and functional...
2013-03-05 by Nick Zampiello
there are caps on the card too that could be bad. i just recapped the power and connector plate on an SDSV and it looked like the caps were from the 1920 s!
2013-03-05 by Ed
I picked one up a few years back that had all these problems and replaced 4013 and 4556 and everybody was happy again. Since the 4013 has changed since 82,

As the LED s are driven by IC2 and IC3, I d definitely suspect one of them. IC3 is just inverting the outputs from IC2 so I think you re going to be correct

I wanted to chime in on issues with my SDSV hi-hat card, as long as someone may be thinking about them. My card used to work fine for about 10-15 minutes, and

I think Superwolle70 is thinking about using a stereo-to-dual mono splitter, and dual zone pads/voices... That wouldn t work, just like he says. But I read

Had a reply from Senso - none in stock. Anyway good news, got some from TME, arrived yesterday so I ll be mostly fixing things tomorrow :)

I think he only talks about a splitter, not a stereo cable (i e insert), so yes, it works. You just send the trigger from different sources. The pads are not
