Yes, the plastic banding looks original and has the japanese battery.
I did go by radio shack got a very similar (same specs) cell phone
recharageble battery with wire leads. It looks good enough to mount on
the board, but I will run wire leads to a safer mounting area. Once
this is accomplished on the sx 240 on to the sx 210 and will share the
results.
