progress:
modern g.e. cassette tape recorder with adapters work fine on the
kawai sx 240.
But not the sx 210. The sx 210 will save but on verify, I always get
an error message. It does seem both to be volume sensitive and no
volume adjustment satisfies my sx 210-- so I will get another recorder
of better quality and try.

My computer is way away from my studio so the windows record is not
easy, and will need to get an usb interface first.
