Oh - one more thing. Make sure you get a decent (expensive) MIDI cable. There are many cheaper cables out there that simply don t work with a PC.

Many soundcards use the joystick/game port as MIDI also - so it s the same thing. You don t need to set DTXchange up as a MIDI instrument. When you start

I added the dual trigger cymbal pad to my DTXpress and this does allow you to choke the cymbal by grabbing the edge as Mark mentioned in his reply...so yes DTX
